Millennium Tour

We took a walking tour of Sodermalm, which is where a lot of the Millennium trilogy by Stieg Larsson takes place.

Bellmansgatan 1 is where Mikael Blomkvist lived in the books.
A look up at Bellmansgatan 1.

A look over the city from Sodermalm

The Millennium offices would have been on the 2nd floor of this building.  It used to be over the Greenpeace offices, but Greenpeace moved out and took down the sign the week before our tour.

The 7-Eleven that Lisbeth Salander would have visited in the books.

Finally, the location of Lisbeth Salander's apartment in Soder after she embezzled millions.  This multi-million dollar penthouse is owned by a person that uses it only as his New Year's Eve apartment...nothing else!  The view from this area over the water is magnificent and on NYE it is apparently the best place in the city to view fire works.  Why wouldn't you have a special flat only for NYE fireworks?
