Weekend Fun

Last weekend, we headed out to the Tekniska Museet...for the 3rd time since we moved here!  We like this museum because of the fun activities for the kids, but decided to go last weekend because of the new NASA exhibit that opened last month.  Unfortunately, the NASA exhibit took over most of the children's play area and Aaron and I couldn't look at the new exhibit too much with 2 kids running around...  We still had fun, but probably won't go back there for a 4th visit any time soon.

This was the only part of the NASA exhibit that the kids could touch.  They had some fun pretending to be astronauts.

You might remember a similar picture from our first visit to this museum last July from this post.

This time around, Ben was big enough to take a ride!  I can't believe how much he has changed since July.

Sophia is delivering mail :-)  This was fun for her because she has been learning about mail at school lately.  Her class recently learned how to address envelopes and they took a trip to the post office to mail Valentines Day cards to their parents.

Aaron also took the kids to the park last Saturday morning while I was cleaning at school.  (The school that Sophia and Ben go to is a parent cooperative so I pitch twice a year to clean the toys, etc.)  It was a gorgeous day at the park and the kids even met up with some of their friends to go on the toboggan.

The little guy between Sophia and Ben is their little friend from down the street - he is 3 weeks younger than Ben and his name is Ben too!  He has an older brother Sophia's age :-)

This is what the sled looks like.  Sophia also likes giving other kids rides.
